“It is no wonder Boeing has decided to continue its exit from Washington State. Just as Seattle Councilmember Kshama Sawant’s political grandstanding attacks on businesses are forcing Amazon to seek new locations for its employees outside of Seattle, Governor Inslee’s insulting comments about Boeing will lead the airplane manufacturer to find a more welcoming environment for its jobs.” (Shift)

“We elect legislative officials for moments like this, to diminish damage and protect the most vulnerable in a state of emergency and economic recession. There is no reason the Governor should ignore the economic crisis, while businesses, manufactures such as Boeing close, as we push even greater economic distress to another fiscal year.” (Shift)

“Apparently, Inslee doesn’t want a special session because he knew that those evil state legislators in the Democrat-controlled House and Senate were going to cut benefits for working people, cut mental health spending, cut health care benefits and cut aid to the homeless. The ‘Inslee-Fib-O-Meter’ must have hit 100% even with his financial donors – no legislators, either Democrat or Republican, stated any of those things.” (Shift)

Critical Race Theory “is a philosophy that replaces personal responsibility with grievances against the “system”, and it has made its way from universities into many of our most sacred institutions, including even the military. Left unchecked, this has dire implications for the nation.” (Shift)

“It seems that only in Seattle can an elected official violate her oath of office to uphold the law, and then force the same taxpayers trying to recall her to pay for her legal defense against that very recall.  At least Sawant is true to her Socialist ideology – she’s having everyone in Seattle chip in to pay for her legal team.” (Shift)

Democrat congressional candidate Carolyn Long stated in a fundraising email that a poll shows her within two points of Representative Jaime Herrera Beutler, yet she fails to mention that the pollster is connected to the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee.  Long performed extremely poorly in the only accurate poll released so far, the August primary election in the Southwest Washington congressional district.  She received less than 40% of the vote and was 16.5% behind Herrera Beutler in a heavy-Democrat turnout election.  Obviously Long needs to provide biased polling numbers to try and get any attention, due to her past donors fleeing from the faltering campaign. BTW, the first clue that this poll has suspect numbers is that it claims 49% support Herrera Beutler and 47% support Long, leaving only 4% is undecided.  This is unheard of in any election still five weeks away. Since the general election contest to replace Representative Denny Heck in the 10^th Congressional District has two Democrat contenders (due to Washington State’s Top Two primary system), the race provides us with twice as many curious comments from the candidates.

First, Marilyn Strickland claims she is the subject of the “GOP’s recent power grab” and that she is the target of attacks from Republican special interest groups.  This despite the fact there is not a Republican candidate on the ballot. (Marilyn Strickland fundraising email)

Second, predictably Beth Doglio regurgitated the unscientific false claim that the recent wildfires were caused by climate change in a recent fundraising email.  Of course, if Doglio had followed the science behind the wildfires, she would not be able fundraise from the facts.
