A PEEK AT THE FUTURE AFTER JAY INSLEE IS DONE: POWER IS OPTIONAL

LOCAL UTILITY PLANS FOR FUTURE BY PRACTICING RANDOM POWER BLACKOUTS IN MIDDLE OF THE DAY

The Shift team was looking forward to catching up on all the news with today’s briefing, and though the inter-state travel mentioned yesterday proved very predictable and uneventful, the continued presence of electricity at the Shift office in King County was less so. Evidently, our power provider decided that it should start practicing for the future envisioned by Jay Inslee, where reliable power is not that reliable.

Thus, today’s briefing depends upon a few more comments from the interwebs than usual, and some graphics that provide some insight into the mess that is Olympia under Democrat rule. If the power angels are with us, normalcy will return tomorrow, in time for the first major deadline in Olympia – that policy bills must pass their committee or go bye-bye.
