Leave it to the rich guys – the Tom Steyer’s of the world—to put their ego and extreme environmental agenda ahead of the jobs of people across the country who have been begging for their help – endangered U.S. Senate Democrats.
The Washington Post points out the dilemma that Democrat Party leaders face with the announcement of the latest move by President Obama’s Environmental Protection Agency to slow economic growth in the United States:
“The regulations…will shine a spotlight on a growing division within the Democratic Party: On one side are major donors, who take a particular interest in environmental causes and are becoming increasingly important to the party. On the other are the candidates whose fates will decide control of the Senate and who hail from energy-producing states.”
And, given the Democrat Party’s extreme dependence on mega donors and special interests to fund their candidate campaigns, we all know who will win this tug of war – the rich guys.
