The media is buzzing with the story that Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended an import ban on agricultural products coming into Russia – and how that may impact the Russian people more than those trying to send goods into Russia.
Of course, in this Washington, people are questioning why Jay Inslee would implement his own export ban on Washington grain – by telling the state patrol not to protect threatened state employees trying to inspect grain in Vancouver.
Evidently it is far more important to Jay Inslee to protect the interests of the unions that give him campaign money than it is to protect state and federal employees trying to do their job – and help the state’s economy by keeping exports flowing.
Very “Putinslee” of him.
