The Columbia Basin Herald (Moses Lake) supports ending “Title-Only” bills in the Washington Legislature. This political tactic, often used by the Democrats in Olympia, is a non-transparent method to get around requirements established in the Washington Constitution. As the CBH editorial states, “The state legislature is no place for games. The democratic process allows citizens to be active participants in the legislative process and we believe it is time for lawmakers to adhere to democratic principles and ban title-only bills outright.” (Columbia Basin Herald)
