Third time’s the charm for Central Washington University? After two previous investigations exonerated Rep. Matt Manweller (R-Ellensburg), a professor there, from accusations of inappropriate behavior, a third report suggested otherwise. You might be surprised by the allegations made in the report: One cites a time when Manweller held the door open for a woman exiting a building. Gov. Inslee announced the state’s plan to sue President Trump if the administration rolls back the Obama-era Clean Power Plan. “I think it is fair to say that Donald Trump is an unindicted co-conspirator in the premature death of 1,400 people every year…” Inslee said hyperbolically (standard for him). As radio host Jason Rantz sees it, socialist Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant owes taxpayers $5 million. He argues that thanks to her hypocritical push to save The Showbox and prevent the construction of 442 apartments, she will cost the city millions in tax revenue that could have gone toward the affordable housing fund. Despite taxpayer-funded postage-paid ballot return envelopes, Clark County saw a smaller percentage of ballots returned by mail this year than last. County Auditor Greg Kimsey said he was surprised to learn prepaid postage didn’t increase the percentage of ballots returned by mail. (The Columbian)

After Tuesday’s vote, Yakima pit bull owners can finally come out of hiding. Yakima’s city council voted to lift the ban on pit bull terriers within the city limits, a law that had been on the books for more than 30 years. (Yakima Herald-Republic)
