Democrat Congresswoman Suzan DelBene has mastered the art of bizarre fundraising pitches (many of which never quite seem to get the story straight). We assume a lot of it has to do with the fact that she shares Democrat fundraiser Tracey Newman with Jay Inslee (and we all know how bizarre Inslee’s fundraising appeals can get).
DelBene, a multi-millionaire who spent more than $2.8 million of her own money on her 2012 campaign to first get elected to Congress, is notorious for asking her supporters for a small amounts of money. Her latest appeal is no exception. The email reads,
“I’ll get right to it: I’m asking for $5… After this month, all of our fundraising numbers for the year are going public.”
In the next sentence, the email gives a hint on just how low those numbers are likely to look. The emails claims that DelBene’s campaign needs to “raise $2,131 by our mid-month deadline in 72 hours.”
Now, if that’s true, it would mean that DelBene only raised $800 from the previous email she sent out that claimed the millionaire member of Congress needed to raise $3,000 by the mid-month deadline.
We already know that DelBene can’t seem to get even 5,000 people to donate to her campaign, now her emails reveal that her bizarre attempts have also failed to attract much actual money. Evidently, DelBene has yet to discover that people have caught wind of the fact that she doesn’t work for them. Rather, she’s just another big-government-loving minion of the Democrat Party.
