A victory in our fight against the president’s anti-immigrant and anti-family agenda. The Statue of Liberty proclaims: "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free." We can't let this administration go back on that promise.https://t.co/YhIoxwmXrH

Great news. The cruel #PublicCharge rule is blocked, for now. It would have devastating impacts on immigrants, including those who already have visas or who are U.S.-born. Thank you @AGOWA for your leadership on this crucial issue. https://t.co/p8oBwVhB9l

Today Mayor Durkan, Governor Inslee, and Bob Ferguson celebrated a win in their fight for undocumented immigrants while parents and classmates of a 16 year old Mount Rainier High School student learn that their son’s gruesome murder was preventable.
KIRO news is reporting that Carlos Iraheta-Vega, who was arrested this week on suspicion of murdering 16-year-old Juan Carlos Con Guzman, was shielded from immigration enforcement by King County’s sanctuary policies. The teen was found hacked up, dismembered, and dumped in the Green River near Auburn.
According to ICE, this is the second murder this month committed by an undocumented immigrant that was protected and released by King County. Last week Bellevue Police announced the arrests of three men and a 15-year-old boy for the brutal killing of Josue Flores. ICE spokeswoman Tanya Roman stated
“This is yet again another example of sanctuary policies shielding criminal aliens who prey on people in their own and other communities from immigration enforcement.”
Again, we ask, how many lives have to be sacrificed so that selfish Washington Democrats Jay Inslee, Bob Ferguson, Dow Constantine, Jenny Durkan, and other Left-wing “moral heroes” can feel good about themselves?
