Even The Olympian says Democrats “failed”

You know you have done something very wrong when the state’s most liberal daily paper – The Olympian – takes Democrat legislators to task for failing the school children of our state. Remember, this was the only newspaper in the state to endorse Jay Inslee in 2012.

Yet today, the newspaper of choice for the majority of state employees, writes “Shame on the Democrats” for giving  to pressure from the teacher’s union” and failing to pass a teacher accountability bill last session.

That Democrat failure has cost the state control of $40 million dollars in federal funds aimed at low-income students, and requires that schools districts across the state send letters to parents indicating that their child’s school is failing.

All because Democrats need to keep campaign money flowing from the teacher’s union. A “shame” indeed.
