It appears that the earth has shifted under ObamaCare, as now Members of Congress from the President’s own party are telling the truth about the law and exercising damage control. Last week Senator Manchin from West Virginia introduced a bill to delay the individual mandate penalty for a year, saying “We need to start working together to fix this law.” And over the weekend Congressman Kurt Schrader from Oregon put it more bluntly – the President was “grossly misleading” about the true impacts of ObamaCare.
Even President Clinton thinks President Obama should honor the commitment he made:
Now when might we hear from the Washington State Democrats who voted in favor of the law – from former Congressman Jay Inslee to current members like Adam Smith and Rick Larsen (we know Jim McDermott is still mad the President didn’t just force through his ideal, fully socialized medicine) – do they think the President was being honest with the American people about the law?
