A Tribute to Charlie Kirk
Shift WA joins millions across the country in mourning the passing of Charlie Kirk, a bold and tireless champion for conservative values. Charlie dedicated his life to empowering young Americans to embrace freedom, faith, and responsibility. Through his work at Turning Point USA, he gave a voice to students who too often felt silenced, building a movement that will carry forward for generations.
Beyond his role as a national leader, Charlie was a devoted husband and father. Our deepest condolences go to his wife and his two young children, as well as to his many friends, colleagues, and loved ones who are grieving this heartbreaking loss.
Charlie’s passion, courage, and unwavering commitment to the principles that built this country will not be forgotten. His legacy will continue to inspire countless Americans to speak truth, stand firm, and never give up on the fight for liberty.
His passing also serves as a sobering reminder of the rising tide of political hatred in our country. Specifically, at this moment, we must reflect on how the Left’s rhetoric has fueled division, demonized conservatives, and created a toxic climate where hostility replaces debate. This must end. Leaders at every level—local, state, and national—have a responsibility to call it out and reject the politics of hate before more damage is done to our communities and to our nation.
As we mourn Charlie Kirk, we also pause to remember the solemn anniversary of 9/11. Both moments remind us of the fragility of life, the cost of hatred, and the enduring need for unity, courage, and truth.
