Seems that Jay Inslee’s attempts to get Frank Chopp’s Democrat-controlled House to pass his priorities are, shall we say, not meeting minimum standards.
It took the always-on-the-liberal message outlet Publicola to point out that Democrats couldn’t even find enough of its own to vote to raise the nation’s highest minimum wage in advance of a legislative deadline Tuesday. The fact this was an Inslee priority from his State of the State address apparently was enough to couldn’t convince his fellow liberals to ignore economic reality.
