Washington State is the second highest in the nation for college tuition costs, according to a new report. In the last few years, Washington State public universities also increased tuition at “the second-highest rate in the nation.”
According to the College Board, our state’s “average in-state tuition increased by $4,085, bringing it to $10,811 this year.”
Washington Democrats don’t seem to mind the huge jump in tuition costs. This year, Democrat state legislators actually tried to eliminate tuition freezes put into place by Republican the year before.
