The Washington State Democrat Party’s latest email reveals just how out-of-touch the party has become when it comes to the pressing concerns that working families face on a day-to-day basis. The email reads,
“If we’re going to elect a Democrat to the White House, we have to start with you. We know if we aren’t speaking to the things you care about, we aren’t running the people-powered campaign we want to run.”
Email recipients are then asked to “take a moment” and tell them which issue they believe is “most important.” The options are “campaign finance reform,” “income inequality,” “campaign finance reform” or “something else.”
Apparently, for the Democrat Party in Washington, these are the top three most important issues for the next President of the United States. Tellingly, no mention is made of national security, or the national debt or taxes.
