It has become a bit of a tradition for liberals to threaten to leave the United States if something they don’t like (and don’t expect) happens – such as Donald Trump winning the presidency, Cubs winning the World Series, etc.
Now that we are finishing the first week of President-elect Trump, the question must be asked – when are they leaving?
Consider such liberal icons as Babs Streisand (“I’m either coming to your country, if you’ll let me in, or Canada,” Streisand said about Trump in an interview on Australia’s “60 Minutes”) and Cher (“IF HE WERE TO BE ELECTED,IM MOVING TO JUPITER”).
Or such B-listers as Rosie O’Donnell (“the NY Daily News reported in April 2016 that O’Donnell would be moving to Canada if Trump were elected”) and Chelsea Handler (“I did buy a house in another country just in case, so all of these people that threaten to leave the country and then don’t, I will leave the country”) who are also on their way out.
One can only wonder if they will be as swift in their departure as they were in their denunciation
don’t let it hitcha where the Good Lord splitcha
Subversives will continue to subvert.
So far Rosie has reneged. Says she was just kidding. Oprah is praising Donald. Doesn’t look like she’s going away. I haven’t heard of any of them packing. ‘Course we couldn’t expect to take any of them at their word. Following their sheepherders. Sharpton may want to find a place with no extradition.
So they could be deported for being stupid and pathetic leaches, one can only hope.
