The Democrats who jammed through Obamacare in 2011 – remember, not a single Republican vote for this massive new social welfare policy – promised that it would reduce health care costs.
Wrong.
According to the Associated Press, “taxpayers will fork over nearly $10 billion more next year to cover double-digit premium hikes for subsidized health insurance under President Barack Obama’s law.”
Guess we’ll have to see what replace-and-repeal looks like next year. Maybe it will cost less?
