Steyer’s Sasquatch-sized carbon footprint

Liberal California billionaire Tom Steyer spends a lot of time traveling around the country proclaiming his climate change agenda to anyone who listens—or needs his money. All the while, Steyer is creating a carbon footprint to rival even the most jet-setting, SUV driving, environmentally unfriendly billionaire.

Most recently, Steyer traveled from his plush home in California to Louisiana in order to attend a global warming conference. While in New Orleans, Steyer participated in a panel discussion called “The Dollars and Sense of Climate Change.” Steyer then left the conference… in a gas-guzzling SUV.

This isn’t the first time Steyer has been caught in a hypothetical situation. In fact, the oil investing billionaire’s hypocrisy is well documented.

Steyer’s schedule this week includes three different public appearances in two different states. And, if his past environmentally unfriendly traveling practices are any indication, we imagine Steyer’s Sasquatch-sized carbon footprint will only grow larger.
