Steyer scared out of California Senate race

Tom Steyer spent over $70 million to try – and largely fail – to elect Democrat Senators across the country last year, and that experience has evidently caused him to pass on a race for an open U.S. Senate race in his home state of California next year.

Steyer had been loudly flirting with a campaign to replace Barbara Boxer in the Senate. However, the entry of California Attorney General Kamela Harris – who actually has a public service record as opposed to the wanna-be Steyer – into the race evidently convinced Steyer that he would be better served to spend his millions on other races, rather than waste it on his own losing cause.

Unfortunately, for those who live in Washington State, it probably means more of the nasty and usually false attacks, which Steyer is known for in races here.
