Even the Obama administration is allegedly “disgusted” with former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton. When the former head of the State Department was discovered for using her personal email while she held the position of Secretary of State, she came under fire for obstructing Congress. However, despite being told to turn over all emails – Clinton clearly did not realize that “all” meant every single email regarding foreign policy, because she did not turn them all over.
When former aide Sidney Blumenthal turned over sixty emails to the House Select Committee on Benghazi, reports of Clinton withholding emails began to gain traction. The Washington Examiner has reported the allegations Monday morning, saying “Clinton withheld Benghazi-related emails from the State Department” that contained information pertinent to her work as Secretary of State – despite having claimed she over turned all work-related emails.
Allegedly included in the emails, that have since been deleted from her private computer system, is proof that outlines Clinton’s “knowledge of the scramble for oil contracts in Libya”. The emails also reportedly contain proof of her hypocrisy and manipulation of the government through her position at the head of the State Department, revealing she knew about massive “shortcomings of the NATO-led military intervention for which she advocated”.
Recovered emails provide insight into the level of manipulation Clinton may have held over the State Department in regards to her knowledge. Emails reveal tips about relationships being created between Libyan leaders and “major oil companies and international banks”. These relationships then would be “factor(ed) into decisions” being made regarding access to oil reserves.
One email reportedly divulges a thank you from Clinton to former aide Blumenthal for “useful” tips, as well as encouragement for him to engage in a tit-for-tat secret exchange. Clinton reportedly suggested Blumenthal share information with Libyan leaders during a meeting in Paris with the intention of receiving information from said leaders in return.
Blumenthal has gone as far to admit that he was to benefit during the crisis in Libya through a deal involving medical assistance. Blumenthal advocated for “private firms” to provide “medical assistance” in emails to Clinton that were not turned over by the former Secretary of State, indicating foul play and an attempt at hiding evidence – presumably because she knew of the conflicting interests.
As the plot thickens, more and more of Clinton’s lies have begun to leak out. The only question is when will she finally be held responsible for them?
