Our “esteemed” Senator Patty Murray isn’t exactly known for being at the top of her class in the U.S. Senate, if you know what we mean (and I think you do). But, she is known for her extreme partisanship – and that’s exactly what she displayed at a recent Planned Parenthood rally in Olympia.
Reading from a piece of paper (we assume her staff members knew better than to assume she could deliver a short speech without notes), Murray called Republicans “absurd and wrong” for saying they would block [lame-duck] President Barack Obama from appointing a replacement for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.
She goes on to disparage Senator Ted Cruz and wraps up by claiming that Republicans “watch Mad Men and think it’s a how-to.”
Of course, perhaps due to her rusty public speaking ability, Murray stumbled over the delivery of the insult we assume she thought was clever and had spent time practicing.
After the event, an activist approached Murray, asking why she believes Republicans are wrong for saying they would block a nominee when her colleague Chuck Schumer called on Democrats to do the same at the end of former President George W. Bush’s second term.
In 2007, Schumer gave a speech in which he advocated blocking appointees if any additional Supreme Court vacancies opened under Bush.
Murray did not answer the question, choosing to hide behind her staff.

That woman is an embarrassment to every citizen of the State of Washington. She is the epitome of the argument supporting the division of this state into two entities.

Actually, the best argument for splitting Washington comes from our state budget. Western Washington provides well over 60% of the tax money Olympia spends. By keeping you moochers and takers in Eastern Washington away from us producers and makers in Western Washington, we’d have more money to address the problems our booming economy here has brought.
(Don’t worry — farm subsidies and Hanford will still redistribute wealth from west to east, so maybe nobody there will starve.)
Well, to be sure, we in East Washington have our share of looters but, here’s the rub; almost all of them came from West Washington (prisons, mostly), Oregon and/or California. As for makers & producers in West Washington, what precisely is made & produced over there anyhow? Well, okay. You’re making a tunnel in an earthquake zone . That’s something, I suppose, and I guess there are still a few airplanes still being made there. Then, there’s the odd water pipe. Honestly though, other than reams of bureaucratic edicts, just about everything I’ve ever seen coming from that direction has “Made in China” stamped on it.
When we tried to vote her out she kept digging up dead people’s votes and kept counting till she won. She’s like a fungus we can’t get rid of.

Well, everybody knows that when Barack Obama takes a sharp turn, Patty Murray gets a crick in her neck – cause her head is so far up Obama’s butt…… And every time Obama stops suddenly, Murray gets whiplash.

It is a great wish to be rid of useful idiots like her and the green gov but we the good people of Washington State have to realize that we live under the will of king county. Everything in this state is under their control. Especially since they(we by association) have been championed by bernie as the greatest socialist state.
