Obama’s min wage hike to add $100 million a year to federal deficit

Last February, President Obama issued an executive order that directed the Labor Department to increase the minimum wage for federal contractors from $7.25 to $10.10 per hour. A new report reveals the consequences. The Hill,

“Regulations proposed this week to lift the minimum wage for federal contractors will cost employers and taxpayers an estimated $100 million next year and just over $500 million by 2019, according to the Obama administration.”
