Brad Owens latest stint as temporary governor has come to an end, with Jay Inslee making it back from the UN’s global warming gabfest today, and reassuming the reigns of “leadership” over Washington State. As Shift reports today, Inslee’s Paris trip was marked by plenty of symbolism, and very little actual work – just the way Jay likes his days to unfold. While the “green governor” was gone, the state was surprised by the return of Troy Kelley to the State Auditor’s office, with Shift noting that there is now another Democrat in the race for that position. Not at all surprising was the news out today that WSDOT underestimated the actual cost of the new tolls on I405 – raise your hands if you didn’t expect that…anyone…anyone…Buehler?
