You would think that $15 billion would be enough in next taxes – but not for Sound Transit.
As Shift reports today, Puget Sound’s less-than-trustworthy transit agency is feeling the pressure to go beyond – far beyond – the $15 billion tax measure approved by the legislature earlier this year. Instead, Sound Transit announced it’s looking at a $27 billion – or more – ballot measure to put before voters next year.
You might ask why – to which Sound Transit would answer, “because we can.”
Also, Shift lets you know that disgraced Democrat Auditor Troy Kelley is back in office, drawing a salary from taxpayers.
Why – because he can!
Those Democrats sure seem to rely on the same thinking, eh?
