It’s not a comforting reality, but the future of public charter schools in our states rests with the Democrat-controlled state House. In other news, rather than work to impeach disgraced Democrat Troy Kelley, Democrats prefer to weaken the agency he holds on to. Also, Democrats want to cut $487 million from funding intended for meeting McClearly obligations on K-12 education. And, according to a recent study, due to port slowdowns along the West Coast in 2014-15, our state lost a whopping $769.5 million in economic activity.
