Last week, Jay Inslee jetted off to Paris in order to participate in the United Nation’s climate change conference. Only, he wasn’t really invited to participate. The State Department decided to leave our green governor out of all negotiations—kind of like lawmakers decided to give Inslee the boot from budget negotiations during the 2015 legislative session.
Instead of staying here, working on the budget that is due next week, and getting ready for the upcoming legislative session and the challenges facing Washingtonians, Inslee decided a four-day ego trip to Paris was more important. His trip also proved he doesn’t really believe climate change in our nation’s biggest threat—as he says time and time again.
You see, if Inslee really believed climate change presented a dire threat to our futures, he would not have jetted of with a large entourage of state and local officials to attend a conference where his presence was not needed—or specifically requested. Inslee would have simply Skyped in to all those “meetings” he plans on attending and spared us his large carbon footprint.
But, that’s not what he did. Instead, our green governor decided to become a bigger part of the problem he calls the biggest threat facing our nation.
We’re here to shine a light on Inslee’s hypocrisy and his extreme “green” agenda. But, we need your help. Will you consider joining us in our efforts today?
