Last week, the State Auditor’s Office revealed shocking details concerning the incompetency of the Washington State Transportation Department (WSDOT) via a new report. From failing to point tolling cameras in the right direction, to mailing bills to wrong addresses, the failures detailed in the audit are truly embarrassing for the Democrats running the incompetent agency.
But, it’s not just the WSDOT bureaucrats who are the problem. It’s the elected, Democrat lawmakers who continually block the incompetent agency from undergoing key reforms. Democrat lawmakers have made a bad situation worse by resisting most reforms advanced by Republicans.
WSDOT’s incompetent “mistakes” only add to the worries of Washingtonians. And, it’s liberal Democrats who are aiding WSDOT’s failures.
You can count on Shift to continue shining a light on those legislators who resist reform and protect WSDOT’s incompetent management.
