Last week, Democrats showed their true colors when they blocked the possibility of a debate on a bill that would make it harder to raise taxes. The bill in question sought to establish a [time and time again] voter-approved supermajority vote to raise taxes in the state Legislature.
Republicans argued that the bill should be brought directly to the floor, bypassing the committee process, because the issue has been examined and debated already. After all, the public made their opinion known six times when voters supported making it harder to raise taxes via various initiatives
Unfortunately, Democrats have proven they are more interested in their special interests agenda than respecting voters’ will. You can count on us to expose Democrats and their special interest agenda. But, we cannot do it without your support.
