The Daily Shift– October 14, 2016

Just in time for the Big Windmageddon 2016, Shift is taking on three windbags before the weekend – Jay Inslee, Sound Transit, and Alan Durning of Initiative 1464 fame.

In the case of Inslee, our weekly look at his calendar reveals a governor enjoying some road trips, as he tries to stay out of the way of the people actually governing the state. He hopes you’ll enjoy the campaign commercials that he filmed when you were paying his salary.

Campaign commercials are also coming our way from the folks at Sound Transit, and the Seattle Times tells us they are “mostly true”, though they spend most of the article Shift highlights pointing out the inaccuracy of Sound Transit’s bogus ridership claims. Also relying on faulty claims is Durning, who runs a far-Left environmental blog, which evidently makes him an expert source on campaign finance reform – if not firefighting.

You’ll have to read Shift to understand that connection – and hopefully you won’t have to do it by flashlight.
