The votes just keep coming in, and the eyes of the nation (?) are still on Washington State as the count goes on. As Shift highlights today, the after-election-day counts are favoring Republicans this year, meaning that a few liberal election night leaders are now behind, and more may be soon. Oh, the drama.
Drama was also a feature of a far-Left gathering on Capitol Hill Sunday night that Shift writes about, or at least crying was on tap for those so upset by the election that they needed a safe space to let it all out.
And, unfortunately voters will not be safe from yet another attempt by the Democrats to pass a carbon tax, even though it was just rejected 59-41% last week. There is something about raising energy prices that just gets Jay Inslee and his supporters so excited that they can’t help themselves. But, maybe voters will help the environmental extremists see the light, when they put the tax back on the ballot…
