Given his extreme laziness (as evidenced by his schedule), Jay Inslee appears to be waging a war on work. Speaking of Inslee, when our green governor heard about House Democrats’ publicity stunt (their staged sit-in), he decided he could not miss a chance to be part of a purely symbolic event that would accomplish nothing. And, refusing to listen to voices that urged a consideration of better transportation options for our region, the unelected Sound Transit board unanimously voted to send its $54 billion scheme — (ST3) — to the November ballot. Finally, Olympia voters will likely decide whether to become the first city in Washington to impose an income tax… and they may have two dueling plans to choose from.
