Contrary to his promises as a gubernatorial candidate in 2012, Jay Inslee has done nothing to improve on government efficiency during his first term. Today, we expose three ways Inslee has, in fact, made government waste worse. In other news, a union-backed coalition appears to have gathered enough signatures to put I-1433 — a scheme that would increase the statewide minimum wage to $13.50 — on the ballot this fall. Also, State Senator Pramila Jayapal just received a game-changing endorsement in the race to replace Rep. Jim McDermott. Finally, in an attempt to garner public support, the Washington State Labor Council (WSLC) is falsely claiming ST3 will reduce traffic congestion.
