How far indebt would Jay Inslee go for special interests? Well, he has taken taxpayers rather far into debt for his donors already — and you can bet he’ll go even farther should he win re-election. Speaking of Inslee and special interests, our green governor and his staff insist that ongoing secret negotiations with state employee unions “are not influenced at all by campaign support.” And, we’re supposed to take their word for it. Also, Democrats pumping money into Inslee’s campaign highlights our green governors’ dependence on “dark money” contributions. Finally, incompetence plagues King County Metro. Unfortunately, it all too often impacts working families’ pocketbooks.
