When it’s Friday… but it’s also day five of the Special Session…

Day four of the Special Session… still no sign of a budget both chambers agree on.

Marshawn Lynch has reportedly agreed to a two-year contract with the Oakland Raiders (goodbye… again). Mariners Felix Hernandez and Mitch Haniger both left last night’s baseball game with injuries. Michael Scott is all Seattle sport fans today:

Day 2 of Special Session.

Even after 105 days, legislators were unable to complete their work on time. The 30-day Special Session starts today at 10:00 a.m.

We pay our respects to Former Spokane Mayor David H. Rodgers today. Current Mayor of Spokane, David Condon, put it perfectly: “Mayor Rodgers put Spokane on a global stage and taught the city to dream big. He had a unique ability to bring people together… he will be missed.”
