Socialist Kshama Sawant sure has this politics thing down – issue demands, change your demands, then fail to define what you mean by your new demands.
All this arrogance from someone the Seattle P-I’s Joel Connelly describes as an “Occupy Seattle activist and former part-time economics teacher at Seattle Central Community College” who won her council seat last fall in an election where the majority of registered voters in Seattle did not vote. Sawant slipped by her opponent by 3,151 votes out of 184,213 votes cast.
Despite the less-than-overwhelming circumstances that brought her to the political stage, she so frightens the other liberals on the city council that Connelly asks in his story, “Who will stand up to Kshama Sawant?”
