A new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll finds growing public doubt over President Obama’s “competence and ability to accomplish anything in his second term.” The Wall Street Journal,
“Even though people said they agreed with him on important policies like environmental regulation, just half of those surveyed said that Mr. Obama’s administration is somewhat or very competent, down from 57% in June 2013, and 54% said that he could not lead the country and “get the job done” for the rest of his term as president.
“What is more, 41% say his administration’s performance has gotten worse in the last year, a period that saw his administration buffeted by many events beyond his control such as the Russian conflict with Ukraine or the emerging civil war in Iraq.”
