According to a new poll, nearly six in 10 Americans want the next President of the United States to repeal most of the policies implemented by President Obama. The Washington Examiner,
The perfect presidential candidate to take over the White House in 2016 would be someone who has been in politics for some time, someone who has an executive leadership experience and — most importantly — someone who would change most of the Obama administration’s policies enacted over the years, according to a new CNN/ORC poll.
Fifty-seven percent of Americans say their perfect successor to Obama would change most of his policies, compared to 41 percent who prefer the next president keep most of his policies.
The divide is unsurprisingly divided down party lines: 94 percent of Republicans want his successor to change Obama’s policies, compared to 22 percent of Democrats who want this. Seventy-seven percent prefer Obama’s policies remain in place.
