Liberal billionaires meet with Hollywood to discuss “culture war” strategy

It’s no secret that liberals have Hollywood in their pockets… or is it that Hollywood has liberals in their pocket? In any case, it’s a “special” relationship that is (more often than not) blatantly apparent to even the most oblivious in society.

That’s why it should come as no surprise that Hollywood’s top brass are meeting this week with California billionaire Tom Steyer and other liberal donors—operating under the umbrella of George Soros’ dark-money Democracy Alliance—to discuss “harnessing the power of Hollywood and the entertainment industry as a tool in the culture wars.”

The discussion is scheduled for the spring conference of the Democracy Alliance (DA), the uber-secretive, super-rich liberal donors club. According to Politico:

“A Tuesday night dinner will feature a discussion “with Hollywood actors and directors on how Hollywood has been used to promote progressive ideals, and how it can be utilized more effectively in the future,” according to the agenda…

“On Wednesday, interested donors will be taken to the headquarters of a non-profit production studio called Brave New Films for a discussion with actor Martin Sheen about ‘why this is an important moment for advocacy in media.’”

Indeed, it’s not the topic, or even the reason for these meetings that are surprising. Given the reality of Hollywood, it’s what we’ve come to expect.

Rather, it’s the outright brazenness of it all. It’s liberals’ unabashed, public use of Hollywood for their far-Left agenda to influence our culture and win the so-called “culture war.”

And to keep their money hidden in the war.
