An ongoing feud between Democratic National Committee Chairwoman and South Florida U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Orlando superlawyer and medical marijuana megadonor John Morgan has revealed an interesting tidbit of information on the way Schultz does business. Palm Beach Post,
Politico reported Thursday that Wasserman Schultz offered to change her position on medical marijuana if Morgan would take back his criticism of her. Wasserman Schultz emphatically denied the claim today.
The Wasserman Schultz-Morgan feud started last year when Wasserman Schultz voiced concerns about the medical marijuana initiative pushed by Morgan, which ended up getting 58 percent of the vote in November but fell short of the 60 percent needed to become part of the state constitution.
