Jay Inslee’s attack on the state’s wheat industry – to the benefit of his union campaign supporters – continues to draw media attention, the latest from a Seattle Times editorial writer who walks through Inslee’s recent statement explaining why he acted as he did.
The writer points out that Inslee completely ignores the importance of agriculture to the state’s economy, while bending over backward for his union buddies.
Inslee concludes with what the writer calls a “throwaway line”— “As you know, agriculture is one of our state’s key economic sectors, and I remain committed to a healthy, thriving industry.”
Unless, of course, one of his union campaign donors tells him to do otherwise.
