Halloween is supposed to be the scariest day of the year. Coincidentally, this year, it also may mark the end of Jay Inslee’s extremely scary COVID-19 state of “emergency” after a staggering 976 days.

Shutting down small businesses, resulting in thousands of permanent closures and loss of livelihoods across the state, while supporting major campaign donors like tribal casinos to stay open.

Failing to recognize the increase in “deaths of despair” because substance abusers were denied needed social assistance services like 12-step programs – even after he allowed church goers to gather in the same rooms used by 12-step programs.

Overseeing irresponsible reduction of security measures by his staff which allowed the theft of more than $650 million from the state’s Employment Security Department, resulting in thousands of Washington residents going without promised benefits when they were most needed.

Randomly enforcing subjective dictates on counties with leaders who challenged the abuse of emergency orders, including rolling back Pierce County freedoms while allowing King County to remain open despite similar COVID numbers.

Refusing to recognize religious vaccine exemption requests by state employees, resulting in serious disruptions to our transportation system (especially ferries and mountain passes) due to a lack of workers who met his random and strict mandate requirements.
