During a call-in news conference on Tuesday, Jay Inslee claimed that climate change would be Democrats’ “winning issue” in 2016. Inslee went as far as to predict that “Republicans will be voting for Democrats” due to their desire for clean energy economy.
Inslee was joined on the conference call by none other than California billionaire and extreme “green” hypocrite Tom Steyer and Democrat Delaware Gov. Jack Markell. Steyer joined Inslee in making delusional claims. He called climate change “the ultimate growth opportunity for the Democratic Party.”
Meanwhile, Markell took a page out of Inslee’s playbook and just stuck with making exaggerated statements. Markell claimed “big chunks” of Delaware “could be underwater.”
Steyer and Inslee’s extreme optimism concerning the appeal of their signature issue has no substantive grounds. Last year, Steyer made good on his pledge to help advance his (and Inslee’s) extreme environmental agenda in our state by laundering $1 million through groups like the Washington Conservation Voters in an effort to shift control of the State Senate to the Democrats. Every single Democrat Steyer backed lost his or her race.
So much for Steyer and Inslee’s extreme “green” agenda.
Inslee should start paying attention to the news in Wa. then, he’s obviously confused.
