After announcing an executive order that sets Washington State on course for a carbon tax, Gov. Inslee sent a letter to his supporters revealing his commitment to his plans. Inslee asks supporters to stand with him by signing a petition.

The EU tried and is in the process of abandoning supposedly “Green Energy” implementation. Germany is in the process of building 20 new coal-fired power plants. Wind and solar are not reliable enough to carry any industrial base power load. Green energy is not affordable, reliable, or of sufficient quality for high tech manufacturers. This is part of the greatest scam in the history of mankind. Billions of $’s wasted with over $200 billion in the U.S. alone. Ask the Green Governor what metric will determine if his plan is cost effective. Will it stop AGW (anthropogenic globing warming)? Note: the planet has seen no significant increase in temperature in over 17 years…..how many more billions of taxpayer dollars and years of cooling until Inslee says he was wrong? Furthermore this is an economy-killer…..this fact will be revealed long before the climate change issue is settled…..thank you, Governor, for the tax increase in an economic stress period.

The Western Climate Initiative, a west coast copy of RGGI (Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative), has fleeced about $1.3 billion from east coast and NE states. The EU’s Carbon Emissions Scheme is a financial disaster. The U.S. Chicago Carbon Exchange went belly up. Business and wealthy families are fleeing California. What part of this tax increase future does Inslee not realize?

Just reviewed my comment and I did not phrase the connection between RGGI and the WCI correctly. The RGGI has sold about $1.3 billion in CO2 certificates. The WCI, promoted by Governor Gregoire, was very similar to RGGI, but did not fly when state legislatures wrestled with the climate change issue. Inslee knows the WA state legislature would not impose a carbon tax, so he is bypassing them by Executive Order. Do you detect a similarity between Inslee and Obama?
Other questions for Inslee: When you say Climate Change do you mean warming and/or cooling. If you mean Global Warming, why not say so?….because AGW doesn’t fly in the public arena anymore. What is Carbon Pollution? Carbon is an element. Our world contains hundreds of carbon compounds. Do you mean CO2? If so, say so. Do you want me to believe that CO2 is the planet’s thermostat and that reducing CO2 levels below some point will stop AGW.
Furthermore, CO2 is a trace GHG that comprises a mere 4 parts per 10,000 in our atmosphere. Think of a stadium with a 10,000 seat capacity. CO2 sits in 4 seats and by controlling these 4 seats man can start and stop temperature changes. This logic is completely illogical.
One last comment: Our CO2 level is calculated by a facility in Hawaii. For the past 40 years, our CO2 level has risen at a nominal rate of 2.2 ppm annually and is now about 400 ppm. The annual increase has been steady and shows no tendency to accelerate like Gore’s science fiction fantasy video and increase exponentially. U.S. submarines have a CO2 limit imposed of 8000 ppm. At the current rate, we have 3,636 years before reaching a safe limit of CO2 exposure. I think climate science will be settled by then and mankind will find a solution for any emission issues. I have faith in man’s creativity and ingenuity, so should Governor Jay Inslee.
