Jay Inslee just took his tendency to politicize tragedy, including the recent terrorist attacks in Paris, to the next level. Inslee sent out this email to supporters:
Essentially, Inslee re-doubled on his insistence that President Obama can count on him to be a faithful lemming on the Left coast. As Shift reported, innocent people lost their lives as a result of a terrorist attack, and rather than discuss strategies to prevent that from happening again, Inslee saw an opportunity to make a political statement.
Now, it appears, Inslee also saw on opportunity to, in the long run, raise money by adding names to his email list. Shift wrote about how Inslee used this tactic throughout the last legislative session when even his attorney admitted that the campaign misled supporters into providing personal information under the guise of taking action.
Our green governor appears to not only think it is appropriate to politicize a terrorist attack, he believes it is appropriate to fundraise off of a terrorist attack.
It just doesn’t get worse than that. Inslee is an embarrassment to Washingtonians.
