For the second time in one month, footage of Debbie Wasserman Schultz—DNC chairwoman—has surfaced “in which she accused a Republican governor of giving women ‘the back of his hand.’” The Daily Caller,
Wasserman Schultz, who was widely condemned for making the thought-to-beinitial comment referring to Wisconsin governor Scott Walker, made the exact same comment about Florida governor Rick Scott about a week prior to reports of her accusations toward Walker.
During a roundtable meeting in Wisconsin, Wasserman Schultz said that Walker “has given women the back of his hand. I know that is stark. I know that is direct. But that is reality.”
The DNC chairwoman made the comments about Scott on August 26th at a victory party for Charlie Crist, who had sewn up the Democratic nomination for governor in Florida earlier in the night.
“Making sure that we can help voters answer that really important question over the next 70 days: who has my back? When they ask themselves that question, they will consistently say Charlie Crist, the Democrats will have my back,” said the congresswoman in the video.
“Rick Scott has given us the back of his hand,” she stated.
