Washington Democrats will hold their precinct caucuses Saturday, to choose who the state’s 101 delegates want as their party’s nominee. Candidates will be awarded a proportional share of delegates based the percentage of votes they win at the caucus meeting.
Bernie Sanders is counting on a strong showing in Washington State, based on the amount of ads he is running on TV/radio. He is expected to win the majority of delegates.
Though socialist Sanders can count on the support of Democrat voters in our state, he can’t count on the governor’s backing. Jay Inslee has already pledged his vote as a so-called “super delegate” to Hillary (so much for the peoples’ will… perhaps she is sending some campaign money his way).
