The news about the 2015 election continues to worsen for Democrats, as more is learned about their sometimes-hidden efforts to put more far-left folks in office. A recently discovered lefty Political Action Committee (PAC) failed—and we mean really failed—to have a positive impact on the 2015 elections – the South King Co. Working Families PAC.
The South King Co. Working Families PAC, a new group that popped up this year, managed to raise a total of $76,000 for the 2015 elections.with the big donations came in from a who’s who of big labor – Service Employee International Union (SEIU) 775, SEIU 1199 NW, United Food and Commercial Workers 21, and Washington Teamsters.
The PAC spent its resources trying to elect three candidates. Democrats Sally Andrews and Mia Gregerson’s in SeaTac city council races, and Democrat De’sean Quinn’ in a Tukiwila city council race. However, given the election results, South King Co. Working Families PAC may as well have not tried.
Andrews lost with mere 39.64% of the vote, Gregerson—the incumbent mayor of SeaTac no less—lost with 40.86% of the vote, and Quinn lost with 46.64% of the vote. The big labor-backed South King Co. Working Families PAC not only lost, it lost big.
Perhaps the union members who funded those “races” through forced-dues payments to the labor bosses who make such political decisions could ask for a refund.
