Inslee bipartisanship poll - Shift Washington

Jay Inslee appears to view himself as the savior of the world that everyone needs – whether we agree with his idea of salvation or not. During a recent interview, Inslee actually said that “if you have to choose, save (sic) the planet over bipartisanship, choose saving the planet.”

The reality is Inslee would prefer quite a lot of things over bipartisanship. His grandiose statement brought us to wonder what else he prefers over working with other people who might even disagree with him, you know, bipartisanship.

Let’s turn that question over to you…

What is the most partisan issue that Inslee has preferred over bipartisanship?*
- Passing a state income tax with no Republican votes in the legislature.
- Negotiating secret deals with his generous campaign donors in the state’s public employee unions, refusing to open them up to public scrutiny as he gives away billions in taxpayer dollars.
- Abusing his emergency powers for over one year – cutting the state legislature and other elected officials out of any decision-making – all while hurting families and small businesses across the state.
- Jamming two expensive and ineffective environmental policies (his LCFS and cap and trade schemes) through the legislature, and then issuing unconstitutional vetoes to allow them to start increasing gas prices immediately.
