The Daily Shift – September 14, 2016

Shift fills you in today on the details showing just how, cough cough, “tough” a negotiator Jay Inslee is with his big campaign donors at the state employee unions. Evidently his generosity knows no bounds when it comes to spending $130 million or more in other people’s money.

And speaking of big money, we give you a peek at Sound Transit’s “kickoff” to come after $54 billion from taxpayers, both with a party at a Capitol Hill nightclub, and a debate on the Eastside. Finally, we ask yet again, why doesn’t the Seattle Times admit that Jay Inslee supports a state income tax, since he has proposed a state income tax.
