SDOT Chief Scott Kubly is — once again — the center of a conflict-of-interest scandal involving a former employer. The question is, what does it take to get a sleazy bureaucrat fired in Seattle? In other news, WA voters will see quite a few initiatives on the November ballot. We have a list of few high profile ones. And, the Seattle Times doesn’t have the greatest track record when it comes to picking out a candidate for State Auditor — the paper’s editorial board just proved it again. Finally, all of a sudden, Sound Transit is touting a decrease in costs associated with its $54 billion scam, ST3.
