Team –
Last week, a new poll revealed Jay Inslee’s tenure as governor is on shaky ground. Despite his incumbent status and vastly better name recognition among voters, Inslee only leads Republican challenger Bill Bryant by a narrow 43% – 36% margin.
But, the poll revealed another interesting fact: Inslee’s liberal governing philosophy is out-of-step with Washingtonians.
A plurality of 40% of voters view Inslee as a Liberal, 30% describe him as Moderate, and 6% as Conservative (and as a side note, we’d like to know the confused voters who describe Inslee as a Conservative). The last 25% had no opinion on his politics.
By contrast, the poll also indicates that just 25% of voters in our state describe themselves as Liberal, 35% as Moderate, and 31% as Conservative. The remaining 9% said they did not know.
Inslee is not popular, and his political approach is not popular. That’s why it’s so important we continue to shine a light on his far-Left agenda.
You can count on us to do just that.
Thank you,
